MCES: Carol’s Place Moves To New Home

Carol’s Place, our Crisis Residential Program, is now located on the ground of Eagleville Hospital in Lower Providence Township.

The redevelopment of a portion of the Norristown State Hospital property where Carol’s Place was located necessitated the move. We worked diligently to find a new home for Carol’s Place, where we provide temporary residential treatment in a home-like setting.

Renovations were made to Acadia House, a modular unit that formerly housed a 16-bed drug treatment program to create an eight-bed facility with the home-like setting integral to the service philosophy of Carol’s Place.

We continue to work closely with Eagleville Hospital staff in adapting to our new location.

Although Carol’s Place has moved, our commitment to those we help is unchanged. What is also unchanged is the location of our main home, our behavioral health hospital on the portion of the state hospital property that is not being developed.

Please call us at 610-631-2480 if you would like to discuss the move of Carol’s Place or are in need of assistance.
