Lakeside Global Trauma Training for 2023
Exciting news from PA Care Partnership and theOffice of Children, Youth, and Families (OCYF). PA Care Partnership and the Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (OMHSAS) have partnered with OCYF to add to the existing PA Care Partnership contract with Lakeside Global. As a result, Lakeside Global has added funds to allow free trauma training for anyone working in or with child welfare in Pennsylvania through September 30, 2023. OCYF was able to add 1.2 million dollars using previously awarded incentive funds earned by the OCYF Adoption Team in Pennsylvania. As stated in the attached flyer, all questions relating to the training should be directed to Beth Hall at bhall@lakesidelink.com. Additionally, you will find the training course descriptions in the attached flyer.    For individuals looking for Trauma Training, there are multiple cohorts for courses and workshops scheduled on specific dates and times available through https://lakesidelink.com/training/course-registration-2023/.Training available includes the following: Enhancing Trauma AwarenessDeepening Trauma AwarenessApplying Trauma PrincipalsTrain the TrainersTrauma 101 through 109 WorkshopsContinuing Education Units (CEU):CEUs are offered through the PA Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Professional Counselors. We also offer CEUs to early childhood educators through PA Keys (known as PQAS). All CEUs are offered at no charge. Please review the attached flyer for the full details of the training for individuals and organizations.
