A staff shortage means the person has fewer eyes on them to detect issues, and those staff who are working are becoming over-worked due to the shortage.

For several years, Georgia’s Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) has used the Health Risk Screening Tool (HRST) in its annual mortality report. In this webinar, we’ll briefly take a look at the data from this year’s study and will also talk about the impacts of COVID-19 and the DSP shortages felt nationwide.
